Description:

This bird is 5 - 6", blue-gray upper parts and white underparts. and a black crown. Can be seen creeping on tree trunks, sometimes upside down and at feeders.

Habitat:

Deciduous and mixed forests

Notes:

Voice is quite distinctive and once learned can be used to start looking for the bird as it calls frequently, often before being sighted.
