Suiriri flycatcher

Description:

The suiriri flycatcher is around 13 cm big and it is grey and black, with a grey chest and two clear whiter lines on its wings. Both female and male look similar.

Habitat:

This bird is found around SouthAmerica, in Uruguay, Argentina, South of Brazil and Paraguay. In Uruguay it can be seen year round. It makes its nests both in woods or open grasslands.

Notes:

This bird in particular was spotted at Saint George´s School and it can daily be seen flying and resting in the school grounds.
