Meotipa sahyadri, Family: Theridiidae

Description:

A Comb footed spider showing internal organs in it's typical position. The female Meotipa sahyadri has a translucent portion in the abdomen, with white and brown stripes, while the male is pale white without the translucent abdomen. Meotipa have a unique resting position: sideways and underleaf.

Habitat:

Seen at a small forest on a hill.
