Colgar sp
12mm, Green wedge with a pink nose and pink blush along the rear and bottom of the pale green wings. Black eyes and red legs
One of many Flatid of several species on a vine beneath an old Ironbark tree in a wooded park. Cannot identify the vine but was slender with broad lanceolate leaves in trefoils or something like that. ( I think I am speaking the language until I check and realise I am making it up)
Why is this Colgar sp? http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_... Possibly C. peracutum http://www1.dpi.nsw.gov.au/keys/fulgor/s...

Mark, that is why I hunt them at night. They are too canny in the light although cloudy days are easier. James, they are amazing!
What an awesome little bug
Great. So that's what it is. I saw one today, went in for the cam, and it was gone.
