Pink Flatid Planthopper

Description:

12mm, Green wedge with a pink nose and pink blush along the rear and bottom of the pale green wings. Black eyes and red legs

Habitat:

One of many Flatid of several species on a vine beneath an old Ironbark tree in a wooded park. Cannot identify the vine but was slender with broad lanceolate leaves in trefoils or something like that. ( I think I am speaking the language until I check and realise I am making it up)

Mark, that is why I hunt them at night. They are too canny in the light although cloudy days are easier. James, they are amazing!
