Unknown Spotting ( Moth )

Description:

Around 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon, I opened the front door, and a small moth, flew inside my house, and landed on a pane of glass, on the right front window. From time to time, there are a few insects, that rest on the outside of the front door, during the daytime. Also, when it's raining. The colors of this moth, was different shades of brown. This moth, was one half of an inch wide.

Habitat:

This moth, was resting on the outside of the front door.
