This was a volunteer from a Buddleia davidii. The main plant died and 3 shrubs came back in the area. The Texas weather is very hard on Buddleia davidii and I replant 1 gallon plants about every 3-5 years. Buddleia x weyeriana; Honeycomb butterfly bush and Buddleja lindleyana are much more resistant our variable weather.
