Red-headed Duck

Description:

Drake is gray with brick-red and gray black breast. Bill is gray with white ring near the front and black tip of the bill.

Habitat:

Lakes, and bays

Notes:

This species is similar to the Canvasback duck but is smaller and has a distinctly profile. One key difference is the length of the Canvasback’s bill which is longer and different in angle.
