Yes i have found many interesting seedlings in the compost.
the common are tomatoes seedlings, but i've been getting quite the diversity out of the compost the year, such as peach seedlings (peach-lings), and Mangos.
I have a new one i found in the compost also and potted up for identification purposes, i will upload next.

I doubt the avocado would survive a winter up here, but I wonder how many other species are inadvertently planted in the course of composting?
