Boettger's Dainty Frog

Cacosternum boettgeri

Description:

Super tiny frog (about 2 cm) with a vertebral stripe and black markings on the sides. You can see size reference in the last photo, we were doing a belly shot as that is how you ID the frogs in this Genus.

Habitat:

These guys were calling all day and night long, we tried catching them for several hours, but this one was turned up under a rock near a pond in a high elevation grassland.
