The Plain Parakeet is a species of parrot in the Psittacidae family, endemic to Brazil. It has 20 cm and is almost all green, with some long feather in the wings and tail green-blue.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and heavily degraded former forest.
