Copsychus fulicatus
Indian robin is a Passerine bird belonging to the Muscicapidae family (commonly known as the old world flycatchers). Predominantly insectivorous. Males have a black glossy plumage while females tend to have much paler black/brown plumage. These birds have a beautiful vocal reporter with males giving sing displays in the breeding season.
Observed in a Palmyrah plantation (Semi-Arid). Generally found in scrub forests and semi-urban areas.
