Ocellate Phyllidia Nudibranch

Description:

There is some variation in this species but most commonly this nudibranch has a yellow body with a dorsum covered in yellow or white tubercules. About 50mm in length. Spotted at a depth of about 8m. Ligpo, Batangas, Philippines

Well I believe each region has it's own unique and beautiful species. It's up to each and everyone to protect and preserve these diversities. I am just lucky that I am here in what is believed to be the world's center of marine biodiversity but at the same time have the responsibility that it remains to be such. Pollution is a common problem here as well and just hope we can learn to control and lessen its impact :-)

Welcome Eric... Sadly to say we do not have better Bank for such spotting at Indian West Coast and non polluted waters near Mumbai.
