Description:

This small tree has a striking smooth pale whitish grey trunk and branches. These small fruits when ripe will be a favorite of the birds and small mammals in the area. When the fruit starts dropping to the ground, a nightly pack of coyotes will gather and howl.

Habitat:

Riparian meadow at the edge of Lake Lewisville, TX.
