Brown and Black butterfly, very tranquil. With similar colors that the monarch.

Habitat:

Sub tropical mountain forest in Guatemala 1800 msnm on a cypres tree. Bordes de bosque, ríos, quebradas y bosques secundarios. Habita desde Mexico hasta Panama

Notes:

Los adultos visitan y se alimentan de las flores de Inga sp. Planta hospedera: Solanum ssp. (Solanaceae).

Rare stray is refering to the reports from Southern US/Texas. So, there might be some rare sightings but not on a regular base. Main range would be Mexico and Central America.
