Largish caterpillar with two black coloured bands behind the head. The bristles look very pretty and delicate although I have no doubt they will lead to itching like mad if they contact skin.
Once known as Kayal-er Bagaan or Kayal' s garden, the land was acquired by the govt. in 2005 and opened to the public. Age old fruit trees sustain local populations of many birds. Insects, spiders, mushrooms, ferns and orchids abound.

Interestingly, I seem to be coming across the caterpillars of moths and butterflies I have spotted elsewhere and earlier. It is so satisfying to be able to connect the dots. Many thanks.
Lasiocampidae, Lappet Moth Caterpillar. Reminds me far away of Lebeda sp., Tea Oil Caterpillar from Malaysia.
