Icterus bullockii

Description:

Summer visitor to the SFBay Area. Strange sounding birds with it's calls and whistles. This male is black throat, crown and eyestripe. Also black wings with a white wing bar and black on the top of the tail. Most of the rest is and orange-yellow. Females are pale overall with a pale yellow chest.

Habitat:

These were found Oaks and Eucalyptus mostly.
