Green Cutworm Moth

Anicla infecta

Description:

This Moth was around one inch long with most of its body gray and the end of its wings were brown. It had two black spots with brown outlines around them. Right above the black spots were brown semicircles. The whole moth was covered with brown and black specks. The moth had thread-like antennae. The ends of its wings were fringed.

Habitat:

We found this moth hovering near a light.
