Immature red-shouldered hawk frightened all the birds away from the backyard. This individual had a very stocky build and was about 20 inches tall.
Along an inland fresh water canal in western Boca Raton, FL
This hawk has landed on the old dock in my backyard for several days and frightens off all the birds at my bird feeder.
