Description:

This beautifully coloured starling is an African variation on common starlings and is just as abundant but so much more striking to look at, with a bright orange chest, electric blue back and turqouise wings that shine brightly in the African sunlight it really is a stunning bird to see.

Habitat:

The savannahs of East Africa, preferably near sources of water, usually found hopping around the grounds of lodges looking for scraps or worms.
