Carolina sphinx

Manduca Sexta

Description:

This moth was definitely not shy. It was 3 or 4 inches long and had some yellow stripes on its body. What is this thing? I've only seen them recently.

Habitat:

Elizabeth, Colorado. Dry foothills.
