Bryophyta
Mosses are small flowerless plants that grow together densely. They can grow to be 1 cm - 10 cm tall commonly excluding the record breaking "Dawsonia" being 50 cm tall.
Moss commonly grows in damp and shady areas at any time of year commonly in natural ecosystems on the ground, trees, rocks, and such.
Moss is a very special plant that is widely known for its diversity and uniqueness compared to other common plants. It is a producer being at the 2nd level of the trophic levels following the sun. In its food chain, it is followed by many herbivorous primary consumers like a deer and caterpillar. The moss gets the original energy from the process of photosynthesis using the sun, water, and carbon dioxide to make its own food and oxygen.
