I know as soon as one hits Texas I'll hear all about it on the Texas facebook birding page. Then you will also hear all about it from me haha. Hopefully soon!
Emily, it's the owls who are really showing off, and are they doing a good job at it!!! Now it's your turn to get some photos from the ones in Colorado.
Thanks Dixie. I'm taking advantage of this year's Snowy Owl eruption as much as possible. These great birds are usually much harder finding in normal years.

Dixie, the latest report I see from Florida was from Jacksonville on Jan 19. You can check here on Ebird. http://ebird.org/ebird/map/snoowl1?neg=t...
Did I see in earlier posts these were found as far south as Florida which is unusual? I need to check my favorites. I would love to see one of these.
Thanks venusflytrap. This has been an amazing year for these owls around here!
very pretty, tom!

Ashley, I just posted this because I knew how much you'd enjoy it:-) Maybe you'll get lucky and have one within driving distance show up for you.
Don't lie Tom, you enjoy making us all jealous with your snowy owls!
