Description:

Smaller spider. Red/orange body with a glossy grayish abdomen. This species has six eyes and has large chelicerae and fangs to help it with its main prey of isopods.

Habitat:

Suburban backyard, under yard debris.

Notes:

Introduced species that is now widespread. This spider species has been reported to live three to four years in captivity!
