Long-eared Owl

Asio otus

Description:

Thanks to a friend of mine... and an extremely heavy snow storm, I was able to catch a few hours with a this rare owl. As you can see, the snow was still coming down during this shot. No noise, a soft wind, snow falling and an inquisitive owl = serenity for any photographer.
