At 7:20 a.m. in the morning, I looked out of the left front window, and I looked down, and I saw a small mushroom, growing from the top of the ( front door mat ). This mushroom, was two inches high. The cap was one half of an inch tall, and one half of an inch wide. This mushroom, had a thin stalk. The color of this mushroom, was cream colored. The top of the cap, had a rim along its edge, with lines on it. In the top center of this mushroom, there was some orange coloring. There was lines radiating outwards from the orange coloring, and radiating towards the edge of this mushroom ( rim ). The lines radiating from the orange coloring, lined up with the lines, on the edge of this mushroom ( rim ). Around 10:00 a.m. in the morning, I looked out of the left front window, and this mushroom was gone.... Kingdom: Fungi
Mushrooms, are found in a great variety of habitats, although each species, may limited in the number it can occupy. Mushrooms, can be found in virtually every habitat. The tropics are the richest in overall fungi, and the northern temperate climate is richest in mushrooms. Over 80% of known mushrooms, are symbiotic with plants, and are most common in young - mid age forests.
I spotted this small mushroom, growing from the top of the ( front door mat ), at 7:20 a.m. in the morning. At around 10:00 a.m. in the morning, this mushroom was gone.
