Theobroma Cacao
This tree is grown in a humid temperature in a rainforest. The fruit, called a cacao pod, is 15–30 cm long and 8–10 cm wide. The fruit ripens from green to yellow to orange, and weighs about 500 g when ripe. The pod contains 20 to 60 seeds, usually called "beans", embedded in a white pulp. The seeds are the main ingredient of chocolate.
Tropical Rainforest.
Some of the cocoa pods were yellow and green, not quite ripe yet.
