orangish fruiting bodies, cushion like globs

Habitat:

dead log, Carolinian forest

Notes:

Spotted this slime on a few dead logs in Turkey Point provincial park. I never tire of this bizarre fungi.

beautiful Dan,i love these kind of formations, i spotted in Gerês national park one in the plasmodial stage,they are more redish and as wikipedia link info says"During the plasmodial stage, individuals are reddish in colour, but these are almost never seen."
