Description:

Small white butterfly with gray bands and two orange/blue rimmed black spots along outer margin. Wingspan 15-25 mm; three generations per year.

Habitat:

Gardens, parks, forest margins, beach dunes, nurseries. Host plants: milkpea, leadwort, wild tamarind

Notes:

4/06/2012: US Fish & Wildlife services listed the Blue Cassius as 'threatened'.
