Description:

I found this small brown moth, resting on a wall, inside the garage. It was healthy, and able to fly. It was a fast flier. This moth, was about three eights of an inch long. From wingtip to wingtip, it was about one inch wide. While resting on the wall, it's wings were fully opened, and flat against the wall. It's colors, were different shades of brown. It had bands, running horizontally, across it's abdomen. The end of it's abdomen, was pointed. It had long labial palps, and they were extended forward. It had dark wavy lines, on the top of its wings. Dark colors were also present, on the outer edges of its wings. It had one antenna, and two compound eyes. It also had six legs, and four wings. A moth, is divided into three sections: head, thorax, and abdomen.
