Description:

It is crown narrowed to broad and the leaves are 4 inches and bristle toothed. The leaves are also very thick and aromatic when crushed. The leaves are bitter to taste. The bark is grey to dark grey, thin and smooth. The flowers are tiny, white and in dense clusters. The flowers bloom March through April.

Habitat:

The habitat for this plant is in fields, roadsides and low woods.
