L 7" Chestnut neck, breast, sides & flanks, white undertail coverts, deep blue above.

Habitat:

Open Woodlands, farms, orchards. This bird was found at the Hospital Fields in Brevard NC

Notes:

Specially designed bluebird nests have helped the species make a promising comeback.
