Halysidota tessellaris
22-25mm. Pale tan FW has irregular pattern of slightly darker, black-edged bands. Thorax has turqquoise and yellow dorsal stripes.
Open field, old farmland. Hosts: Deciduous trees and shrubs, including alder, ash, birch, elm, oak and willow.
Attracted to blacklight, found the following morning.
