Eight-spotted Flea Beetle

Omophoita cf. cyanipennis

Description:

The spots on these beetles come in many different patterns. The beetle is 1/10 inch in size, or a little bit more, and very shiny.

Habitat:

Seen in bushes beside a dirt road in tropical rainforest, 500 ft. Last photo shows the habitat. I saw it on the bushes at the side of this pond.
