Blue Jay

Cyanocitta cristata

Description:

Every spring, I put bread in my front yard, to feed the birds. In my front yard, there is also a palm tree. This morning, I looked out of the window, and I saw a Blue jay, resting on a limb, that was on the left side, of this palm tree. A couple of minutes later, this same Blue jay, flew over to another limb, which was on the right side of the palm tree. A few minutes later, this same Blue jay, flew down from this limb, and landed on the grass, near where the bread was. Photo No. One: This Blue jay, has just landed on the grass, near this piece of bread, and is looking to the left. Photo No. Two: This Blue jay, is looking to the right, at the piece of bread, that is lying on the grass. Photo No. Three: This Blue Jay, is eating from this piece of bread, that is lying on the grass. Photo No. Four: This Blue jay, is standing next to this piece of bread, and is also looking straight ahead. Photo No. Five: This Blue jay, has the whole piece of bread in it's beak, and a few seconds later, this Blue jay flies away. In a few seconds, this Blue jay, and this whole piece of bread, are gone. Photo No. Six: This is a photo of the same Blue jay, resting on a limb, that is on the left side of this palm tree, that is growing in my front yard.
