Lichen

Description:

Lichen growing on a tree. There is evidence of its existence all over the tree from the gray discoloration. The two images are two examples of the lichen on the tree. There was another one that looked like a small puffball but I lost the picture.

Habitat:

Golf course in the suburbs. On a tree that was probably planted for decorational purposes.
