Description:

Erebidae; Arctiinae; Syntomini; Amata sp. This Moth had probably just eclosed from its pupal case. It crawled slowly up the wall of our back terrace from one of several flower pots. Then it stopped and rested there for quite a long time.

Habitat:

Spotted on the wall of the terrace in our backyard.
