Description:

10-14 inches. wings short and rounded. tail long and barred (notched when folded or square). Adult breast finely striped with cinnamon and blue-gray backs. Immature white with heavy streaked brown. Preys on small birds. Tip tail white. small woodland Hawk.

I was sitting on my porch when this one flew by the window and tried to catch a bird at the feeder. He was not successful.
