Montezuma Oropendola

Psarocolinus montezuma

Description:

The birds breed in colonies and build their large hanging nests in isolated trees. Chestnut body with yellow tail

Habitat:

Along the edge of tropical forests, especially along the Caribbean Coast although my siting is along the Pacific coast in southern Costa Rica.

Notes:

Most maps I have seen do not have these birds in our area, but these are just lines drawn on a map.
