moth

Description:

We spotted this moth today near school, it was about 4-5cm long (more or less as the car keys as you can see on the last picture. It was very still. I thought it might be a ascalapha odorata (Linnaeus, 1758) as it is the most similar to the ones I checked but this one seems to have big differences like a few white spots on the top and white lines on the wings line border... However, it is difficult to tell because the ascalapha odorata's features can be appreciated in a better way when wings are open, which was not the case. I appreciate and ID help and thanks in advance.
