Three-Toed Sloth

Bradypus variegatus

Description:

The Sloths was one of the 'must-see' for me during my trip to Costa Rica. We were not able to see them in the mountains. But saw 2 of the Three-toed Sloth in Manuel Antonio Nature's Park. Pic#2 & #3 is of different individual from Pic#1. The Sloth in Pic#2 is a Female with a baby but was not able to get clear pictures showing the baby :(

Habitat:

Neotropical forest
