White Cap Mushroom

Description:

A large mushroom on the forest floor. At least 10cm tall. Looks like an umbrella. White cap and red stalk. Sprouted in a small group, this is the largest.

Habitat:

Forest floor of the trail where I spotted http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/166...

Notes:

To be honest, I was not the one who spotted this. It was spotted by conservationist and photographer Jimmy Omar and the forest rangers. I waited for Jimmy Omar to finish photographing this mushroom only then I took a quick snapshot. The forest rangers laughed at me saying "Are you trying to compete photography with the great Jimmy Omar" >>>Map accuracy : 5km diameter.

Did this have gills or a kind of sponge on the underside?
