Description:

This is the biggest fly ever !. It was about 20 mm long and the abdomen was about 10 mm wide. The thorax glistened with many colours but the abdomen was mostly black. Stout bristles seen on thorax and abdomen. wings were clear.

Habitat:

Spotted on a young eucalyptus tree
