Common Garden Skink?

Lampropholi guichenoti?

Description:

smallish skink with bands of light and dark speckles along its body.

Habitat:

Along the Coogee to Bondi coastal trail there was a damp area where worms were surfacing and this little guy was doing well! I read that they don't need to eat for several days but this one caught a worm as we were walking along, ate it and then we watched it find and catch another worm right away and eat that. Great show!
