Hello Ava T-B. No worries. However, after enlarging the photo a bit, I discovered there are 2 different birds in my photo. The front one is the Glaucous-winged Gull. It has a prominent red-orange spot on the bill. The gull in the back does not. It has a black marking and unlike the Gull in the front it has a 2 toned grey tail. So I am searching. Thanks again for the link. It has helped.

I think you're right. I've never seen a glaucous winged gull -- sorry for the mistake. I'll delete my ID.

Hello Ava T-B.
My entire life we grew up simply calling them Seagulls.
Thank you the link. I checked it out.
I think they are Glaucous-winged Gulls because they're tail feathers aren't black. They are grey. Also they have white on the tips of their wings.
