Great Green & Red-and green Macaws

Description:

Great Green; 29', mostly green body with blue flight feathers, a distinct red forehead and red & blue tail. Red-and-green; larger (33") with a red head, body & shoulders and blue & green wings and blue & red tail. Both very loud and will fly/feed together where their territories overlap and can occasionally produce hybrids in the wild.

Habitat:

In Panama, mostly found only in the Darien & some islands in tree tops near rivers and swampy areas.
