Rufous-vented Yuhina

Description:

Rather jaunty looking with a smart cropped crest with a touch of yellow (the clincher for ID)

Habitat:

Just outside and opposite the place where the trek inside the Neora Valley national park, ( West Bengal, India) starts is a staircase that leads to a few rooms for officials on duty. Spotted this bird in the vegetation surrounding this area.

Notes:

First time on PN? Can it really be??? Lifer for me anyway. IUCN Red list says. Population trend is decreasing.
