Ceratotheca triloba
This member of sesame family (Pedaliaceae) is an annual, erect, herbaceous plant. The stem is erect and tall, here about 1m tall, but it can grow double of that. Large pinkish flowers, 6 to 7 cm long, and tubelike.
Observed an a rocky escarpment near Harare - the historic site of Domboshava.
It was said the plant had some use as medicinal plant - but I failed to note what...
