Metallic shield backed bug

Description:

A bright metallic bug nymph with green and yellow colors is unwittingly very obvious to the trained eye. This is a shield bug (family; scutterelidae).

Habitat:

Associated with acacia in a native habitat reserve in inner city Melbourne.

Notes:

This is my second ever spotting but no adults were seen. Last year I saw this one http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/792...
