American Robin

Description:

About 20 cm in length with a bright red-orange breast. The males and females are fairly similar, with the female just slightly duller in colour. They were hanging out in a group of about 10 birds, eating berries and digging about in the ground.

Habitat:

Live throughout North America, being the second most common bird. These ones were spotted in a wooded valley, near a river.

Robins generally migrate south for the winter. Robins however will sometimes winter in their summer territories. Nice capture, Alina
