Many animals kept in captivity live a much longer life than they would in the wild, and in some cases captivity is the only place that species exists at all anymore. No one is condoning keeping wild animals in captivity, I simply said we have a pets category and captive animals mission for a reason. We cannot stop anyone from keeping anything while it is legal for them to do so.
So I will tell you again, this is not the place for your opinions about captive animals. Feel free to discuss this on the PN worldwide facebook page, or perhaps on one of your own spottings. Thanks

That spotting on the fb page was talking about keeping cats indoors because they kill wildlife, that has nothing to do with this.
The difference here is Jim lives in PA, this spotting is in FL. He is simply taking a picture of a captive iguana. So again, this is not the place for that.

Igaunas are perfectly legal to keep as pets in most places in the US, this isn't the place to argue that :)

Project Noah certainly prefers wild organisms, but there is a pet category and captive animals mission for a reason, which I have already asked him to move these spottings to.

Not protected in FL where they are invasive, and this is a pet judging by the other spottings he is uploading along with it.
